As a former classical ballet dancer, Ellie’s transition to practicing and teaching yoga just seemed to make sense. Years of wear and tear on her feet and body led to irreparable injuries and forced her to quit dancing in her early twenties. A few years later, she happily discovered that yoga not only helped to heal her body but filled the void that not being able to dance anymore had created as well. Within several months of practicing vinyasa and ashtanga yoga, Ellie knew that teaching yoga was her calling in life. In 2012 she embarked on her teacher training at Vibe Yoga in Bloomington, Indiana and teaches both heated and non heated power vinyasa classes at Vibe as well as Bloomington Body Bar. You can follow her daily adventures teaching, practicing, and hanging out with her two cats and husband on instagram @elliebernstein or follow her Facebook page for updates on teaching schedules, events, and retreats @Ellie Bernstein Yoga and Pilates. She is so excited to join the Green Dream Clothing Company Team and looks forward to getting as many trees planted as she possibly can!
Emily found yoga while attending Indiana University. She knew after playing Division I field hockey she would need to find something to take the place of and provide her with a similar passionate feeling. Emily is a salt-water lover, surfing addict, yoga enthusiast, inversion dealer, and coffee junkie. When Emily isn’t doing yoga you will find her in the water on her board or hanging with family and close friends.
